the 350 Carnival was one thousands of simultaneous events around the world drawing awareness to the global warming convention in Copenhagen, and the soaring levels of carbon in our atmosphere. I helped organize the largest Milwaukee event and designed the logo for it. The logo had a few levels of detail for use in various resolutions. For example, printed materials used high detail imaging while lower detail stencils were used for various posters and banners painted by volunteers. Some of these stencils were "painted" with mud on pavement for a high visibility but temporary (rain soluble) solution that fit the overarching theme of the event.
